Product Introduction
Mercury switch, also known as tilt switch, is a type of circuit switch. It is usually a small glass bulb container that stores a small droplet of mercury, and the container is mostly filled with inert gas or vacuum. Due to gravity, mercury beads will flow towards the lower part of the container. Mercury is a conductive liquid, and if it comes into contact with two electrodes at the same time, the circuit will be connected. Otherwise, the circuit will be disconnected. Because the on/off of mercury switches is related to the horizontal angle of the object, it is often used in some automatic control circuits.
